To ensure that the NHS gets £350 million a week as promised after Brexit.
I want MPs to debate and discuss how best to ensure that the NHS receives the £350 Million pounds a week that was promised as a result of leaving the European Union.
During the 2016 referendum, the now Prime Minister, Mr Boris Johnson, along with other incumbent MPs, promised the NHS would receive an extra £350 million a week, as a consequence of leaving the EU. As we are set to leave the EU, on 1st January 2021, it is essential that the NHS receives the money that would have otherwise been paid to the EU.
This promise should be made into law to ensure that the NHS receives this cash injection as soon as possible.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government has introduced legislation which would increase funding for the NHS by £33.9 billion a year (in cash terms) by 2023/24: services.parliament.uk/Bills/2019-21/nhsfunding.html. You can find out more here: www.gov.uk/government/news/nhs-funding-bill-enters-parliament.
