Demand accountability for the money being spent by the government on Covid 19.
Vast sums of money have been given to small inexperienced start up companies, to deliver PPE. The test and trace system has cost many billions of pounds of taxpayers money even though it's apparently unfit for purpose. The public need to know the truth, where has the money gone for so little return.
The government appear to be able to spend vast sums of public money with little or no accountability. The failing multi billion pound test and trace system, has resulted in many damaging local lockdown and a second national lockdown is imminent. The government must be held to account for so much money spent for so little return.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you want Government to be held accountable for its spending related to the Covid-19 pandemic, but it's not clear how you want this to happen. Parliament already holds the Government to account for the value-for-money of its projects, programmes and service delivery through the work of the Public Account Committee: committees.parliament.uk/committee/127/public-accounts-committee. Government spending is also scrutinised by the independent National Audit Office: www.nao.org.uk/.
Further, requests for information about spending on specific projects can be made through the Freedom of Information scheme: www.gov.uk/make-a-freedom-of-information-request.
