Give prisoners the vote.
I would like to see prisoners in the UK being able to vote in elections through a postal vote or confidential ballot held at the prison that they reside in.
I believe that allowing prisoners the vote will develop their civic mindedness. They will take an interest in the issues that affect their home communities. They will be eventually released one day and this experience may help them respect their neighbour's wishes.
