Allow Registry Office Ceremonies during second Lockdown
Allow couples to still have their wedding ceremonies if they are at a registry office, no receptions allowed but at least we can do the legal bit and celebrate down the line. Even if the amount was reduced.
This will be the second time our wedding has been postponed and we can’t keep paying our time and time again to give notice. It’s not fair on people’s health and well being. All we want to do is get married.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
Since you started your petition, the national lockdown has ended. Under the local restriction tiers introduced on 2 December wedding ceremonies can go ahead with up to 15 attendees, but you could start a new petition calling for changes to the current tiered restrictions, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
