Leisure Centres and Gymnasiums to remain open - Respect Mental Health
I want the government to consider leisure centres and gyms to be essential to the mental well-being of millions of people
Not everyone has a partner, not everyone has a friend, not everyone lives near their loved ones - people are isolated, alone and vulnerable.
The leisure industry has taken great measures to ensure the public’s safety, ensuring all these venues are spotlessly clean and adhere to all distancing rules.
More people converge for “elite sport” than they do at these venues and as such they should be allowed to continue to operate.
