Prevent closure of Sports and Leisure Activities/classes
Prevent the closure of all sports and leisure centres, including swimming pools, riding centres and Golf Courses. Allow extra curricular activities for children, including sporting lessons/classes.
We know that being overweight and/or having a compromised immune system makes people more vulnerable to COVID (as well as the many other illnesses, including heart disease and diabetes). With a second national lockdown looming, we are being told that all sports and leisure centres will close, both indoor and out. Swimming pools are to close, as are golf courses and riding centres/stables. We are being told to stay home. This will have a catastrophic impact on people’s physical and mental health!
