Have a national vote on whether to have a second lockdown due to COVID-19.
Allow the people to decide on whether or not to have a second lockdown.
The economy, people’s welfare and people’s jobs/livelihoods are all at risk due to repeated national lockdowns. It is no secret that COVID-19 has tragically taken many people’s lives, however the NHS now have a handle on the virus and are no longer overwhelmed. There becomes a point where the devastation this pandemic is causing to the economy and people’s lives, begins to outweigh the devastation to people’s health. The public should decide not the government - we didn’t vote for this.
