Cancel the second national lockdown in England

Petition Details

The government should lift damaging lockdown restrictions, which are ruining the economy and peoples lives. Further restrictions will exacerbate existing problems and should not be implemented.

Additional Information

The restrictions have caused the following negative consequences:

- Mass unemployment and job instability
- An increase in deaths from other causes due to lack of access to regular healthcare and support (rising deaths from heart disease, cancer and dementia)
- An increase in societal problems, including alcoholism, domestic abuse, drug addiction and loneliness
- A breakdown of social cohesion with people forbidden from visiting even members of their close family.
