Class gyms as ‘essential’ during periods of lockdown.
Open gyms throughout lockdown with tighter restrictions in place for the sake of mental health.
For many people Including myself gyms are the coping mechanism regarding the stability of their mental health.
‘According to the Public Health England's surveillance report, which is based on data from Test and Trace gyms currently stand at 3%, whilst supermarkets are 12%, pubs and bars 10% and secondary schools are 5%.’
Gyms have proven that they can put measures in place to keep us safe so why is it necessarily to close them and sacrifice even more lives in addition to COVID-19 deaths.
