Keep places of worship open amid national 4 week lockdown from Thursday
To keep places of worship opened for congregational prayers whilst following social distancing and preventative measures. It is important that the government know the significance of religion for the people of England. The government should rather encourage the public to attend places of worship.
The government must know that in many communities, especially those from the Muslim community need to attend their prayers several times a day. As Boris Johnson himself said that places of worship are classed as 'covid-safe' places, mosques, churches and all other religious places and seminars should remain open to ensure practice of religion is not lost whilst adhering to the preventative measures. Attending places of worship is a fundamental practice and obligation in all religions.
