Have Esports Classed As An Actual Sport
I want the UK to recognise esports and it players as an actual sport and actual athletes.
Esports is one of the fastest growing sports and it will continue to be! Esports should be recognised as an actual sport by the UK. Players have been known to break fingers due to the stress from physical training. Due to its incredibly large competitive format, physical strain, and set of required skills, gaming in esports is just as much of a sport as playing in a game of football.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is not responsible for recognising an activity as a sport.
It is up to practitioners whether to refer to an activity they undertake as a sport, and recongising a governing body for a sport would be a matter for the UK's sport councils, not the Government or House of Commons.
