Petition Action

Ban fireworks in the UK.

Petition Details

Thousands of pets across the UK are scared of fireworks. Fireworks can cause animals, especially dogs extreme trauma and this can even result in heart attacks. These unfamiliar noises can often go on all night long result in pets hiding, shaking and panting.

Additional Information

Thunderstorms are out of our control however fireworks are not. The RSPCA estimate that 45% of dogs feel fear when they hear fireworks. How is this right when we are meant to protect our dogs and keep them safe. Also think of the animals who we cannot comfort in our homes, where can they hide from the loud, unfamiliar noises?
Protect our pets hearts and protect them from physiological distress.
