Make it compulsory for all gas and electricity company price rises to be announced on the same day.

Additional Information

By setting the same date for energy price rises it will make it easier for people to decide about switching providers. When these dates are staggered it isn't possible to know whether the company you switch to isn't going to raise their price even higher at a later date. It would be like putting their prices out to tender and create more competition in the market.
