Stop the sale of fireworks to the general public.

Petition Details

Fireworks cause great anxiety to very many people and animals. Allow only specialist stockist to sell fireworks to a licensed organised firework event.

Additional Information

Fireworks are falling into the wrong hands. Many teenagers are easily able to obtain these fireworks and use them in inappropriate ways.

There’s been many occasions where such people have been caught throwing fireworks in people’s gardens/homes, passing vehicles and people.

Also, firework displays in people’s homes do not have any risk asseememts completed prior to displays where no consideration is taken to what affects it has on surrounding neighbours, accidents and environmental impact
