Close all schools two weeks before Christmas
This is so that the kids could isolate for a while. Then it would be a lot safer for grandparents to see their grandchildren at Christmas. Normally this time at school is traditionally taken up with Nativities, School parties and Carole services. These will be cancelled anyway.
Grandparents really look forward to seeing their grandchildren, especially at Christmas. Allowing the kids to break up two weeks earlier, would give them and their parents more time to isolate before seeing their grandparents.
