The Sovereign support grant is set to increase from £31million to £37.9million next year - a rise of 22 per cent. At a time where austerity is affecting people from those with too many bedrooms to front-line N.H.S. staff, is now not the time to question the sustainability, efficiency and source of Royal funding.
