Make Furlough Available to the Devolved Nations When They Need It.
West minister refused to extend the Furlough Scheme for Wales and Scotland when they entered their second lockdown. Now that England have entered their Second National lockdown the Furlough Scheme has been extended to support workers. Access to the furlough Scheme should be equal among the UK.
Rishi Sunak ignored the calls to support the Welsh and Scottish public. Now that England are entering their second National Lockdown the Scheme has been extended. There has been further confirmation that the Scheme will only last as long as the whole of England are in a National Lockdown. This is an example of the inequality of the workings of the UK and is totally unacceptable.
The public of the devolved nations pay their taxes, they too should have equal access to support .

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
On 5th November it was confirmed the Treasury would provide funding to support the extension of the furlough scheme across the UK to the end of March 2021. See www.gov.uk/government/news/government-extends-furlough-to-march-and-increases-self-employed-support
