Ensure that schools are kept open during the COVID-19 pandemic
Ensure that schools are kept open during the covid-19 pandemic to avoid further long-term damage to their education. Allow parental choice (without fear of penalty) on whether or not to send their children based on their own circumstances such as shielding parents or siblings.
The long-term implications for our children’s education & mental health & wellbeing is severe and potentially very damaging. Allow parents to choose what is best for their own children based on their own circumstances & keep them home without penalty. Do not inflict a blanket closure on all children & those that want their children to be out of school.
