Provider Relief Scheme to be extended for education providers due to COVID.
The government launched the Provider Relief Scheme to provide crucial financial support to allow education providers to continue to operate during the Covid pandemic. This scheme ended on 31st October 2020. Another national lockdown will have a fundamental impact on providers ability to operate.
This scheme, run through the Education & Skills Funding Agency (EFSA), must be extended to provide crucial support to post-16 providers nationally, else risk providers going out of business. Education is a fundamental part of assisting the country and economy to recover and protecting the sector is essential to speed up this recovery.
