Petition Action

Start a discussion to ban the public sale of fireworks.

Petition Details

Start a discussion to ban the public sale of fireworks and prohibit displays to lisenced events.

Unlisenced public use of fireworks is dangerous, a public inconvenience, polluting and antisocial.

They harm animals both wild and domestic.

Additional Information

I would be greatful for the government to discuss tougher controls on the public sale of fireworks and the consequences for the miss use of such explosives.

Fireworks are becoming antisocial and dangerous. The constant banging at this time of year is detrimental to peoples mental health and to the well-being of pets, domestic animals and wildlife.

Restricting the sale of such explosives to lisenced professionals who conduct appropriate risk assessments before an event is essential to safety
