Police powers under the Dangerous Dogs Act should be restricted, so that owners must be given opportunities to prove the dog is not of a prohibited breed, before the dog can be seized.

Additional Information

Too many people are losing Pets that they consider family, based on looks and nothing else, even when the dogs are in no way in aggressive.
