Make it law that landlords for rental properties have to accept pets.
Bring in a law that all landlords have to accept pets in rental agreements. And that the deposit should be sufficient to cover any damages which may be incurred by pets or to cover carpet/flooring deep cleans at the end of tenancy.
Government should do this as at present there are insufficient rental properties on the market that allow pets. As a high percentage of rental clients own pets, and find it almost impossible to find rented accommodation that take pets.
