Urgent mental health support for all children in schools in the UK due to Covid.
To provide urgent mindfulness classes in all Schools across the UK and to be made part of the national curriculum to also have fully trained counsellors to support with mental health in all high schools and colleges. The pandemic is having a massive impact on our children’s mental health right now.
The government has stated that every school and college will have a designated lead in mental health by 2025. This is not good enough. Reports say that the pandemic is having a massive impact on our children’s mental health and well-being right now.They are our next generation,our future and they need our support now and not in a few years time when it could be too late.
