Make it an offence to set off fireworks, other than on specified days
Despite receiving over 100,000 signatures in consecutive years, the government seem unwilling to ban the sale of fireworks.
I’m calling on the Government to make it an offence to set off fireworks other than on ‘Bonfire Night’ and ‘New Years Eve’.
Fireworks cause thousands of animals and people unnecessary suffering. They’re now louder than ever. My dog will not leave the house when it’s dark and shakes uncontrollably, despite medication from the vets. Fireworks seem to be let off constantly from the beginning of November, right the way through to the New Year.
Limit their suffering to just two nights a year!
