Reduce the decibel level of fireworks

Petition Details

Legislate to reduce the noise impact of fireworks the volume

Additional Information

Fireworks have become much louder in recent years and they cause distress to nervous people and animals alike. Fireworks are no longer just used on the 5th November but are being used for more celebrations and ad hoc occasions like individual birthdays. They can be heard within neighbouring houses even through double glazing. It should be possible to have fireworks that don't have a detrimental effect on others.
