Ban the Sale of Fireworks in the UK

Petition Details

I believe that fireworks cause more harm than good. Seeing multiple incidents on the internet such as "fireworks being fired through letterboxes", to "fireworks being fired at moving cars" means that more and more people are at harm. Ban the sale of fireworks for personal use.

Additional Information

I believe that fireworks are incredibly dangerous and quite scary. I know many people's whose family, friends, cats & dogs are terrified of fireworks. Why should we be put through this for weeks on end around Bonfire Night and New Year, just for a pretty display in the sky?
