Allow employers to furlough employees without contributions.
Many sectors and industry's have been disproportionately affected by the covid restrictions financially, trading at barely 10%.
They're unable to pay the contributions required to furlough their employees, meaning millions going without financial help or barely scraping by on universal credit.
Unprecedented as this pandemic may be, many people are being left behind and excluded financially.
2.9 million self-employed individuals have been left to fall through the gap and millions on zero hour contracts, who have looked on in hope, have been left bitterly disappointed.
Universal credit doesn't go far enough to allow people to live in more than abject poverty.
We are not asking for handouts, we asking not to have to choose between food or heating this winter.
