Petition Action

to make british sign language a compulsory subject in school

Petition Details

i want the government to make british sign language a compulsory subject in schools across the uk like spanish or french, as there are many people in and around the uk who we can’t communicate with because of this language barrier

Additional Information

the deaf community is a massive part of the uk which is isolated because the children in schools aren’t taught it as much as other equally important languages
