Only allow the sale of silent fireworks in the UK
Banning the sale of fireworks with sound will protect animals from the severe distress and anxiety caused by firework noise that can even lead to death.
Thousands of animals are affected each year by fireworks. Dogs and cats show signs of being severely distressed during fireworks and it's not just household pets that are affected. Farm animals are easily frightened by loud noises, which can startle and cause them to injure themselves on fencing and farm equipment and cause them to flee their stables end up missing and can result in death.

While some fireworks are marketed as silent, these still make some noise. If you would like the Government to reduce the decibel limit to a specific level, you could start a new petition requesting this.
