Petition Action

Women Monument (Emily HOBHOUSE & Boer War) Centenary - Reconciliation Attendance

Additional Information

Is it not about time us BRITISH Officially went & honoured Emily HOBHOUSE, & the BOER women & children, whom died as a Direct Result of the actions and inactions of our CAPE Colony Crown & Military representatives?
Especially as those personally responsible had never been tried for War Crimes or by a Military Court Martial for bringing the Crown into Disrepute, or acts contrary to the spirit of the GENEVA Convention.
I would request the BRITISH Crown Representative & Parliament send a Senior UK Crown Delegation including the Monarchy, Military & Parliament - to help repair the pains of the past & those ongoing since.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Reconciliation, Repentance & Forgiveness, that would heal immense damage for us all.

Let us finally end the pains & sorrows caused with a very simple & inexpensive gesture of goodwill & peace... in sending such a Delegation from the UK Crown Representatives.
