The government should allow all indoor and outdoor businesses to open, as long as they can demonstrate their ability to provide a Covid-safe environment.During the pandemic, there have been times when gyms, pubs and restaurants have been allowed to open, but not other venues able to prevent the

spreadof Covid19 just aswell, if not better. The government should eliminate this inconsistency and should treat each case individually, as businesses in the same sector may differ in their capacity to meet the requirements.Even in highrisk areas many businesses that have been forced to close could be allowed to operate as long asthey comply infull with the government safeguards.This would save jobs and boost tax revenue. Businesses need the government to work with them rather than against them.
