Petition Action

introduce Covid-19 testing in all businesses to reduce the spread of the virus

Petition Details

since Covid-19 is still on the rise, it doesn't look like slowing down any time soon. I would want the Government to implement testing in business' that will have customers close together. as a result, it can help companies get back to the new normal and also be financially stable.

Additional Information

I would want the Government to introduce weekly testing so that the public will feel safe going into all business especially retail and hospitality. It will also help the government with track and trace and it will help them with finding infected cases and help with containing the virus. Before more people become affected and it will help the R rate lower, which will help the NHS cope and keyworkers cope with the pandemic.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure if you want the Government to require testing before entering specific businesses, or for businesses to be used as testing centres for weekly tests.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
