The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The national lockdown and requirements for certain retail businesses to close or operate as click and collect services end on 2 December, after which a new system of local restrictions will operate. Under this new system all essential and non-essential retail businesses will be able to open: www.gov.uk/guidance/local-restriction-tiers-what-you-need-to-know
We could accept a petition calling for non-essential retail businesses to be required to close in certain tiers, if that is what you want to happen.
