I would like the sale of fireworks banned to ordinary members of the public.

Petition Details

I would like to propose that the government enact a law which bans the sale of fireworks to the general public.

Additional Information

Fireworks in the wrong hands are extremely dangerous, in Scotland from 15 Oct 2019 to Nov 2019, over half of the admissions to A & E due to fireworks where children.
NHS England have said that in the last 5 years there has been nearly a 1000 admissions to hospital due to firework accidents, in 2018-19 NHS Digital explains that over 2000 people going to A & E was linked to fireworks.
There are numerous reports all over the United Kingdom of Police and Fife-fighters being attacked at this time.
