Increase Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)
Change SSP to 100% for the first 6 weeks, 80% for the next 20 weeks and 70% of the employee’s salary for a period of up to 78 weeks.
SSP is too low, the people work hard but when life comes to difficulties is hard to leave. Other countries like Germany or France have similar systems.
