Petition Action

Designate ONE day per ‘celebration’ when Fireworks are allowed to be let off.

Petition Details

Legislate that every member of Public who purchases fireworks for personal must provide ID and be registered with the seller at the time of purchase.
Designate ONE day per celebration when the use of private Fireworks is permitted.

Additional Information

Every year, elderly people, Veterans, Domestic and Wild animals are terrorised by the never-ending, ear-splitting explosions that continue for weeks on end, from 4pm until 2 and 3 am, despite the current legislation which is NOT enforceable so nor is it enforced.
Limiting their use to say, the 1st Saturday of November for Guy Fawkes night, will allow us and our pets who suffer, to be able to plan and prepare for the one night.
It’s impossible to do so for weeks on end, and so distressing!
