Sale the BBC
Simply dispose of the BBC as a Govt institution.
It has outlived its usefulness as such.
The chancellor is about to introduce swinging tax increases which will adversely effect pensioners and businesses for many years to come
The assets of the BBC are reputed to be in the region of £1 trillion, which would more than cover the costs of covid. and produce more than the chancellors current (worst scenario ) proposals. It could be achieved within a 5 year time line if organised and controlled properly.
It would also give £155 annual boost to all paying the TV licence which would be politically beneficial.
The BBC as a govt institution is outdated, and has a left wing bias, is expensive to run, receives complaints of censorship of world news items.
