Increase rates of pay for musicians on streaming services
On streaming service such as, Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, artist must get thousands of streams to make minimum wage ( roughly around 3.5 thousand streams). With the multitude of songs available it is hard for smaller artist to get these streams and be provided with the pay they deserve.
We would like the Government to investigate pay for musicians. In the hopes to increase pay per stream for more fair and equal opportunities.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The rate of pay for musicians on streaming services is a commercial matter for individual artists, their record labels if they are signed to one, and the streaming service providers themselves, not the UK Government or Parliament.
