Make longer sentences for sex offenders, rapists and paedophiles
Make longer jail times for these criminal acts. Depending on what you are convicted of, your name may be added to the Sexual Offenders Register. Prison sentences range from 3 months to life imprisonment for rape. Three months as a minimum isn’t enough, this needs to be changed. Three months does not
Make a change to the offender, and does not help the victim of the rape or sexual assault, especially knowing that there abuser is let out into society after not having enough time to acknowledge the damage they have caused to their lives.
