To provide covid tests for families so they are able to go into care homes.
I want the government to provide covid tests so all residents in care homes can have a key person from their family to be able to go into the care homes and see their loved ones.
Many of these residents haven't seen a loved one for months, nor have they had that physical contact they long for.
Let's get this changed in time for Christmas.
My nan is one of many who long to see their loved ones.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since you started this petition, the Government has announced a pilot scheme to provide testing to relatives of care home residents. It is planned that this scheme will then be rolled out nationally in December: www.gov.uk/government/news/pilot-for-family-members-to-get-regular-testing-for-safer-care-home-visits
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
