Stop labelling health initiatives run by private sector companies as “NHS”
The Government has awarded billions of pounds worth of health contracts to private sector companies which are labelled as “NHS” This is misleading, and if the private firm is not buying a licence to use the NHS brand it is arguably passing itself off as something that is isn’t, which is also illegal
The British public is at risk of being deceived by the mislabelling of health services. It has a right to know where its taxes are going. Multi-billion pound contracts have been awarded to businesses with little health experience run by Ministers’ friends or family. If they can deliver better value than the NHS they should do so under their own name, and not hide behind the NHS brand. Also any failure of such initiatives undermines confidence in the real NHS, and this is also misleading.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you want all private providers to be labelled as such, or to require the use of the NHS logo to be more strictly controlled.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
