Require all online businesses to verify identity of advertisers, similar to how banks check identities before opening accounts. Make it impossible for scammers to anonymously advertise and scam users. Companies allowing adverts by scammers profit while anonymous scammers take advantage of users.

Additional Information

A register of all advertisers should be created and published by each online business allowing advertising, so users can check who has placed the advert. This should help prevent fraudulent online ads from being put out.

Some advertisers have taken advantage of vulnerable people by impersonating other companies, phishing for personal data and promoting scams through online advertising on search engines and social media.
