Petition Action

Reform for the public to be able to call a referendum

Additional Information

To allow the introduction of a bill that entitles the public to force a referendum to determine the overall legitimacy of a current government's ability to administer the nation's affairs and if found to have no confidence, call a new general election from the second year of office onwards if 5,000,000 votes are logged.

This is to allow the taxpayers; the true owners of this country to decide who they employ to manage the nation's affairs, to hold them to account and to effectively grant them the power to sack an incumbent party that is broadly deemed to be failing its electorate.
