Make wearing masks and face shields mandatory whilst going into shops.
I have Cystic Fibrosis so I’m extremely vulnerable, it’s not fair that people without disabilities that truly are exempt them from wearing masks or face shields are getting away with not wearing masks/face shields and buying the Sunflower Lanyards just so they don’t have to wear them.
You don’t have to wear them in public parks or green places, only in enclosed areas like shops, restaurants, public transportation and attractions.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. It's already a legal requirement for people to wear masks unless they are exempt. You can find out more, including the laws and penalties, here:
www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as increasing the fines for breaking the law.
