Reinstate or increase funding for iniatives tackling LGBTQ+ Bullying in schools
In response to the recent ending of funding for anti-LGBTQ+ bullying iniatives, I would like the government to reinstate and increase funding to tackle the very serious issue of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in schools.
As an individual who was bullied in school for being gay I know first hand the serious mental and in some cases physical harm bullying can lead to. This is also a point of principle. If the government believes in equality for the LGBTQ+ Community they should protect the community from bullying.
