MPs also get a pay freeze when the public sector workers so.
To legislate that if the Treasury announce a public sector pay freeze then IPSA cannot grant any pay rises until the public sector pay freeze is removed.
It is in the interests of fairness and true leadership to share the burden of pay freezes along with the public sector of whom MPs are a part.
