Avoid rejection of help for the least unwell people
Personally, I would like the government or Parliament to consider absolutely everybody who reaches out for mental health support whether in a crisis or not. And whether they meet the needs of receiving help or not
I have had personal experiences with mental health services and I can say that some of them have not been a great experience at all. My mum has tried reaching out for help because she wasn’t feeling at her best and thought she needed some help. But because she wasn’t in a crisis and because she didn’t meet the criteria of needing help, she was turned away
