Scrap the proposed pay-per-mile idea for motorists
We ask the government to scrap the idea of charging motorists to pay an additional charge for every mile they drive their vehicle.
We ask the government to consider the implications such a scheme would cause for every person who has to use a vehicle for work or personal reasons.
This will hit those who rely on using their vehicle the most, such as the self employed or those whose family live a great distance away from each other, while at the same time extracting yet more money from every motorist on the road.
