Ban Omeprazole as it has horrible side effects.
I have been on Omeprazole for 7 weeks. I couldn't finish my course as I suffered very severe side effects and still haven't healed. I researched about the drug and I came across people who also have used it and suffered severe side effects.. This drug should be banned.

The licensing of medicines for use in the UK is a matter for the independent Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you are suffering in any way you should report your symptoms to your GP. GPs are expected to report concerns about adverse drug reactions to the MHRA through the 'Yellow card' scheme: bnf.nice.org.uk/guidance/adverse-reactions-to-drugs.html.
You could also start a petition calling for the Government to fund research into medical treatments for indigestion, heartburn and acid reflux if that is something you'd like to happen.
