Petition Details

We believe cinemas are unfairly being made to close in tier 3 restrictions, and should be allowed to open.

Additional Information

Cinemas have invested considerable money and effort to making their venues Covid-secure, and there is little evidence of Covid transmission through cinemas.

Going to the cinema is one of the few activities that can still be enjoyed in the current situation and closing them put huge strain on operators, staff and owners financially and mentally.
